Acceptable use
AI Provider treats you like an adult. It refuses far less than big-name assistants. A few things are never allowed.
What's fine
Fiction with dark themes, frank questions, medical and legal questions for your own understanding, security research on systems you're allowed to test, blunt feedback, and topics other assistants shy away from. The AI won't lecture you.
Never allowed
- Anything sexual involving minors: any sexual content involving anyone under 18, real or fictional, including characters described as children or with childlike bodies. This is blocked automatically on every request and every reply, and accounts that try are closed.
- Illegal activity: using AI Provider to break the law where you or the people affected live.
- Harm to real people: harassment, threats, stalking, doxxing (publishing someone's private details), or content meant to defame a real person.
- Non-consensual intimate content of real, identifiable people.
- Weapons capable of mass harm: help making biological, chemical, nuclear or radiological weapons, or explosives meant to hurt people.
- Malware and attacks: building malicious software or attacking systems you don't have permission to test.
- Fraud and deception: scams, phishing, impersonating real people or organizations, or fake reviews.
- Reselling access: selling, sharing or giving away keys, or running a service that passes raw access to our API on to others, unless we agree in writing. Building AI Provider into your own app is fine.
- Automated or bulk sign-ups: making accounts with scripts or bots, or making extra accounts to get around limits.
- Attacking the service: trying to get around limits or caps, using stolen cards, or overloading the API on purpose.
Not a fit
- US patient health records: we don't sign HIPAA business associate agreements.
- Decisions that need a human: don't use the model alone to decide on someone's credit, housing, job, medical care or legal rights.
How we enforce this
We don't store or read your prompts and replies, so we don't review conversations. The minors rule is enforced automatically, in memory, on every request. For anything else, we act on reports and on what the law requires. For abuse of the service itself (stolen cards, bulk sign-ups, reselling, attacks), we look at account numbers, never message text. We may suspend a key or an account that breaks this policy, and suspended accounts get a clear error with our support address.
